Monthy CodePink Golden Gate Bridge Walk for Peace.
SUNDAY: Noon:  Gather at Bridge Plaza (across the street from the parking lot), SF side, or  Marin end of the eastern walkway of the Golden Gate Bridge We’ll walk to the middle of the bridge and back. We display signage for motorists and pedestrians as we walk the bridge. We’ll assemble for photos both before and after the walk. Bridge walkers from all over the world often join us and take pictures. Bring a sign if you like, though we’ll provide some if you don’t. Rally on SF side after the bridge walk.
Most importantly, JOIN US!
 
This Month’s Theme: 
Come dressed as your favorite woman peacemaker, come dressed in pink, or just come as you are!  Optional:  Share a short story, bio, quote or poem about/from your favorite woman peacemaker & bring snacks to share to CELEBRATE WOMEN!
Bring relevant signs ( 2 x 3 ft. or smaller; wooden sticks/poles permitted)

The national CodePink organization organizes for justice for Iraqis and to hold war criminals accountable. CodePink actively opposes the U.S. war in Afghanistan, torture, the detention center at Guantanamo, weaponized and spy drones, the prosecution of whistleblowers, U.S. support for the Israeli occupation of Palestine and repressive regimes.

Rooted in a network of local organizers, CodePink's tactics include satire, street theatre, creative visuals, civil resistance, and directly challenging powerful decision-makers in government and corporations. And, of course, wearing pink!
