CodePink in Iran

Trip to Iran

We are reaching out to anyone that has an interest in our Iran-related campaigns. We thought you might be interested in this unique opportunity to travel on a Peace Delegation to Iran with both CODEPINK co-directors Medea Benjamin and Jodie Evans.

We are very concerned about the Trump administration’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal and the reimposition of sanctions that are hurting the Iranian people. We are also worried about the threat of another war. This trip is a chance to learn more about Iran, including its rich and beautiful culture, and to interact with both government officials and ordinary Iranian citizens. The trip will take place from January 12-20th, 2019 and will cost $1500+airfare. In order to join, please read the full details of the trip and complete the visa application form with the $200 deposit. The deadline to submit the forms and the $200 deposit is November 15th. However, the sooner you submit your form, the more likely your visa will be accepted.

Contact Lily (lily@codepink.org) if you have more questions.

From our National Site

The national CodePink organization organizes for justice for Iraqis and to hold war criminals accountable. CodePink actively opposes the U.S. war in Afghanistan, torture, the detention center at Guantanamo, weaponized and spy drones, the prosecution of whistleblowers, U.S. support for the Israeli occupation of Palestine and repressive regimes.

Rooted in a network of local organizers, CodePink's tactics include satire, street theatre, creative visuals, civil resistance, and directly challenging powerful decision-makers in government and corporations. And, of course, wearing pink!
