Children of Yemen cowering in fear at bombing
The children of Yemen have had Enough!

It is estimated that 85,000 Yemeni children have already died of starvation since the war began. The United Nations reports that HALF of the 28 million Yemenis still living are at risk of death from starvation by the end of the year, caused by this 3 year brutal Saudi-led war and blockade supported by U.S. military aid, assistance and weapons.  We say ENOUGH!  The people of Yemen say ENOUGH!  We demand that Congress pass HCR 138 and SJR 54 immediately!  STOP THE BOMBING in Yemen.

Please join the Yemeni Alliance Committee and Bay Area CODEPINK in this collective action.  After our peace walk the Yemeni Alliance Committee will lead a poignant rally at the plaza demanding Peace in Yemen and U.S. out of Yemen.

Please bring signs and visuals, if you can, to show your support.
11:45 am:  Gather at the SF or Marin end of the eastern walkway of the Golden Gate Bridge.  On SF side gather at the plaza adjacent to the Welcome Center.
Parking available on all 4 “corners”,  just remember to take the last exit on hwy 101 as you approach the bridge, or the first exit after you leave the bridge.  Arrive early for best parking.

Noon:  Walk on the eastern walkway from the north or south ends, to converge in the middle.  Short, silent vigil in the middle.

1:30 pm:  Rally on SF side after the bridge walk, led by the Yemeni Alliance Committee.

Hope you can join us!

From our National Site

The national CodePink organization organizes for justice for Iraqis and to hold war criminals accountable. CodePink actively opposes the U.S. war in Afghanistan, torture, the detention center at Guantanamo, weaponized and spy drones, the prosecution of whistleblowers, U.S. support for the Israeli occupation of Palestine and repressive regimes.

Rooted in a network of local organizers, CodePink's tactics include satire, street theatre, creative visuals, civil resistance, and directly challenging powerful decision-makers in government and corporations. And, of course, wearing pink!
