San Jose Protest Every Saturday for Peace with Venezuela

When:
March 2, 2019 @ 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

Feb 22 marks one month since Vice President, Mike Pence, declared a Coup d’état against the people of Venezuela, and their President, Nicolas Maduro.

The threat of a US military invasion is very real, as Trump, Pence, Bolton, and Pompeo, have repeatedly threatened, “all options are on the table”. US puppet, Juan Guaido, is promising US intervention through “humanitarian aid” that will arrive in Venezuela by Feb 23. This makes our global response on that day even more important. It’s time to show our solidarity with a sovereign and progressive Venezuela. We must defend the Bolivarian Revolution before US troops set one foot on Venezuelan soil. OVER 130+ PLANNED ACTIONS GLOBALLY!

Bring your own sign that supports our theme: “Hands Off Venezuela”, “Venezuelan Oil for Venezuela”, “No Coup in Venezuela”, “Not Another War For Oil”, “Sanctions Harm the Venezuelan People”.

We’ll be protesting for peace every Saturday until we have peace, not war!
