Medea Benjamin is one of America’s most recognizable and effective
21st-century activists. Co-founder of CODEPINK and the fair trade
advocacy group GLOBAL EXCHANGE, she has authored several books including
Drone Warfare; Kingdom of the Unjust: Behind the U.S. Saudi
Connection and this just released publication, Inside Iran, The Real
History and Politics of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Examining common misconceptions about Iran’s system of government,
its religious and ethnic diversity, and its culture, Benjamin makes short
work of the inflammatory rhetoric surrounding U.S.-Iranian relations,
and presents a realistic and hopeful case for the two nations’ future
