7th International Day of Women and Girls in Science Congress

2022 Theme: “Equity, Diversity and Inclusion: Water Unites Us”
Unless progress is quadrupled, billions of people around the world will be without access to safely managed household drinking water, sanitation and hygiene services by 2030, according to the UN report. Growing water demand, poor water management and conservation, and climate change pose enormous challenges, necessitating a new sustainable holistic approach to support a coherent water strategy.

The Congress will bring together women scientists and experts from around the world, senior government officials, representatives of international organizations and the private sector to discuss the importance of water in achieving the three pillars of sustainable development: economic prosperity, social justice, and environmental integrity.
